Camping Mar Estang is located right on the Mediterranean in Canet-Plage, not far from Perpignan and the Spanish border. The Mar Estang camp site is located in an exceptionally beautiful area of France between the resort of Canet-Plage and right next to Canet where you will find the Saint-Nazaire nature reserve, famous for the thousands of pink flamingos that live there! You will find a lovely wide beach on the doorstep of Mar Estang camp site which slopes down gently into the sea. The sea is also suitable for windsurfers and kite surfers with miles of empty sand and dunes between Canet-Plage and Saint-Cyprien.

There is a beautiful swimming pool complex at Mar Estang camp site with water slides on the camp site. There is also a fitness room, a beach club and entertainment for all ages! There are special clubs for younger children (6-12) and for teenagers. There is also a supermarket and small shop at camping Mar Estang . The onsite restaurant offers good Catalan specialities so take a break from the BBQ and enjoy the specialist cusine.

There is also plenty to do away from Mar Estang camp site. There are lovely towns in the vicinity such as Collioure (a real artists' village), Argelès sur Mer and the capital of this region, Perpignan. Canet-Plage is only 100m away! Inland you can marvel at the mountainous landscapes of the Pyrenées Orientales, together with typical mountain villages, Roman temples and Catharen castles. A bit further away you have medieval Carcassonne. Even Barcelona in Spanish Catalonia is not far away. A lovely spot for a varied holiday with sun, beaches and culture!

You will be staying at this camp site in luxurious SunLodge mobile home or in the adventurous SunLodge Safari (a stylish lodge tent in safari style).

All SunLodge properties are spaciously positioned in an open field with plenty of greenery. The field is quietly located and car-free. Cars can be parked just beyond the field in a parking space reserved for SunLodge guests.

Wrist bands (compulsory) for entry to the swimming pool, bar/disco and sports hall, participation in the entertainment. This only applies from 18 June to 3 September.
